Avijit Arya is an Indian author, speaker and entrepreneur. He is the owner of Ajanta Hotels in Delhi and Tamarind Resort in Goa.[1] He is also the founder and CEO of Internet Moguls.[2] Arya is a graduate from the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow.[3][4]
Career[edit]
In 1995, Arya joined his family business of Ajanta Hotels in Delhi and Tamarind Resort in Goa.[1][2]
Arya has spoken at digital marketing conferences and workshops[2][4][5][6] such as the Social Media Camp in Canada[3][7], the Arabian Travel Market in Dubai,[3][8] the Social Media Mastery Camp in Canada[3] and the National Summit of Small Business Digital Marketing in San Diego.[3]
Arya wrote a book, The Accidental First Mover, on how Google and TripAdvisor changed the hotel industry.[3][4][9] In 2017, he wrote his second book, Bedtime Stories for Tomorrow’s Entrepreneurs.[3][4][10]
Internet Moguls[edit]
In 2009, Arya founded Internet Moguls, a B2B agency that provides social media and online reputation management services.[3][4][11] It also provides digital marketing services for hotels and travel companies.[11]. Internet Moguls has a portfolio of over 300 hospitality companies[2]
Awards and recognition[edit]
Arya won the ‘Best Speaker’ award at the Social Media Mastery Conference in Vancouver.[2][12]
