Biography[edit]

Kato was born from Misato, Saitama. Her height is 166 cm (5 ft 5 12 in).

Her family consists of her parents and a brother who is two years older.

Kato learned to play the piano from her childhood, she had learned piano, vocals, shamisen, etc. for seventeen years. She belonged to the department of music education at the university and was aiming at a music teacher by letting small children to experience the music with a eurhythmic seminar. Therefore, Kato has a teacher's license (music) from junior high school and high school.

While she was a university student, she graduated from a TV station after graduation and aimed to become an announcer, she went to the TBS announcement school as part of her job hunting.[5] In her recruitment examination, although Kato failed in NHK screening documents, eventually they got a job offer from three private key stations of NTV, TBS and Fuji TV,[6][7] she joined Fuji Television on 1 April 2008.

Erina Masuda (from TBS) and Yuuka Aiba (from TV Tokyo), which are her synchronizations of other stations, have been on the same TBS announcement school and have been on good terms since her school days. Synchronized Mika Oguma who joined Nippon TV showed that the seat of the announcer exam was next to each other in the order of the Japanese kana and because the tension of the test paper on the test paper could not be cut during the writing test, talk to the bear and cut the sewing line received.[8]

Because she have a food allergy (meat allergy), she can hardly eat meat of lumps, but something that is souped in soup and something that is fine can be eaten.[9]

On her performance of Mezamashi TV broadcast on 27 October 2014, Kato exited partway due to a poor physical condition.[10]

After free telescope, at the production presentation of Fuji TV's Ichiryū ga Shitto shita Sugo i Hito (broadcast on 14 May 2016), the question "Is there a jealous existence (after the programme name) from the press"? she immediately cited the name of NHK announcer Yumiko Udo.[11][12][13][14]

There is a direction that Kato turned into free and aimed as the host of Kōhaku Uta Gassen.[15]

For reasons of free turnover, suppose that the aforementioned poor physical condition is related, "I can save it when I want to save my work if I am free, I will be doing my best when I want to do my best, so I can adjust the amount of work freely." it was.[16]
