Prior to Ultimate Fighting Championship
Murzakanov fought in the Russian circuit and amassed a record of 7-0 prior to signing with the UFC.[2]
Ultimate Fighting Championship
Murzakanov was scheduled to make his professional debut on June 25, 2017 at UFC Fight Night: Chiesa vs. Lee in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, facing Joachim Christensen.[3] [4] However, Murzakanov was removed from the card on June 8 for undisclosed reasons and was replaced by fellow newcomer Dominick Reyes.[5]
