Career[edit]
Pro-League Gaming[edit]
On March 19th, 2018, Hackett began his career in gaming by joining Cloud9's qualifying league Rainbow Six: Siege team. He quickly rose to fame with impressive mechanical and leadership skills, thrusting him and his team into the spotlight of the 2019 Raleigh Major. Ultimately, his team suffered a devastating defeat, and in 2020 he retired from the scene.[2]
Twitch Streaming[edit]
Hackett created his Twitch channel in June 2016. He began streaming later that month, mostly Rainbow Six: Siege content. He was equipped with low-end streaming tools and minimal knowledge. Regardless, his enthusiastic attitude brought viewers to his channel and kept them coming back, showing off his impressive FPS skills. He created his channel known as SquidGuyyy initially[3], which was also his in-game username as well. In 2020, he changed his channel name to AzayakaLIVE. He states that Azayaka is the Japanese word for vivid (Japanese: 鮮やか), and the "LIVE" suffix is just a distinguisher from his numerous other platforms.
Personal Life[edit]
Hackett was born in Philadelphia on March 22nd, 2004. His family moved through numerous cities throughout his life until he ended up in West Chester, Pennsylvania, where he currently resides. He began to attend courses at The Massachusetts Institute of Technology in August of 2022, studying computer science.
