Azul Garcia Griego (born May 18, 1994), sometimes known by his in-game name AzulGG, is an American professional Pokémon Trading Card Game player and Twitch.tv streamer, regarded as one of the best such players in the world.
Career[edit]
Griego began playing the Pokémon Trading Card Game (TCG) in 2010, winning the first Regional Championship he attended. He won multiple City and State Championships but did not win another Regional until 2016, when he won two.
During the 2017-18 season, Griego won an additional two Regionals and finished the season as the top-ranked player in North America and second-ranked player worldwide.
While known as one of the best players in Pokémon TCG history, Griego has not found significant success at the World Championships. His best finish at an International Championship was a second-place finish at the 2018 Latin America Internationals.
Griego regularly streams the Pokémon TCG Online on Twitch.tv.
