Early Life[edit]

AnneMunition began console gaming around age seven. After saving money throughout college, she was able to build her first computer and began playing PC games before she began to stream on Twitch.[5]

Career[edit]

AnneMunition began her career as a full-time graphic designer, and picked up streaming as a hobby on the side. After streaming on Twitch for a year, she quit her job as a graphic designer and began streaming full-time.[6]

On December 1, 2015, AnneMunition announced her partnership with Corsair, a company that produces computer hardware and peripherals.[7] She is a member of the Corsair Streamer Program.[8] In August 2017, she announced her sponsorship from Intel through the Intel Brand Ambassador Program.[9]

In December 2016, AnneMunition was invited to the White House where she participated in the White House Competitive Gaming Event. Anne competed alongside other streamers during this event, which intended to educate the gaming audience about health insurance and encourage sign-ups through the Affordable Care Act.[10]

Charitable work[edit]

In October 2015, AnneMunition took part in a charity event through Extra Life, which supports Children's Miracle Network Hospitals by receiving donations from live stream viewers.[11] During this event, she raised $15,000 for the charity.[12]

On July 29, 2017, AnneMunition took part in Corsair's Charity Gaming Marathon, live streamed on Twitch, which raised money for the charity organization Save the Children.[13] She and other live streamers were able to raise $27,296 in total, $25,000 of which was matched by Corsair.[14]

In December 2017, she launched her own Naughty or Nice challenge as a result of receiving criticism about her attitude while live streaming. During this challenge, viewers would vote on stream whether her attitude had been naughty or nice after her Overwatch matches. Starting with a base donation of $500, she would add $5 for each naughty result, and $10 for each nice result she received from viewers.[15] After the event, AnneMunition donated the $5,100 raised to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.[16]

In June 2018, she appeared on Felicia Day's Twitch channel for her #KeepFamiliesTogether live stream which raised money for RAICES, an immigration non-profit organization in Texas. Over the course of the live stream, over $250,000 was raised for the organization.[17]
