Marita Nythe Zeylon (born 23 September 1994), better known by her online alias Musarita, is a Norwegian Twitch streamer. Marita is best known for her live streams on Twitch, where she mostly streams gaming but also occasionally streams IRL or baking. Her most played games are League of Legends and World of Warcraft. She is also an official streamer for Viking Esports.[1]
Career
Twitch streaming
Marita is fairly new to the gaming world and has mentioned on her stream that she was introduced to PC gaming in 2018, which started with LoL. While she was attending her second year at the University of South-Eastern Norway, where she took a bachelor's degree in sociology, she decided to give streaming a try and had her first stream on 27 April 2019[2]. She started her streaming career mostly streaming League of Legends, but as she grew more comfortable with streaming, she started to try new things. So far she has tried playing League of Legends, Animal Crossing, Planet Zoo, Outlast and World of Warcraft on stream. She has also had other types of streams such as IRL and baking streams.
In December 2019, she was invited to join Komplett.no on their Twitch stream to play League of Legends, which she accepted. This led to her being exposed to a bigger part of the Norwegian Twitch community, which in return boosted her average viewers per stream after her visit at Komplett[3].
Fenalår giveaway
Marita had a celebration stream on 19 April to celebrate one year of streaming. During this stream, she had several giveaways to give back to her community, and at one point her viewers started to ask for a fenalår giveaway. This meme quickly turned into a reality, and by the end of the stream she was determined to one day have a fenalår giveaway[4].
YouTube
Marita has also started a YouTube channel, Musarita. This channel includes clips of her gaming content and stream-related content. YouTube is still a new platform for Marita, and she hopes to be able to make her channel grow.
