B&R Samizdat Express
Established in 1974, the company, now Seltzer Books, concentrated on self-published books by Richard Seltzer. "The Lizard of Oz" was geared to both children and adults. In 1993 the company expanded to sell public-domain electronic texts on PC diskettes, primarily for the blind, and later, book collections on CD-ROM and DVD. Also made available was an electronic newsletter, Internet-on-a-Disk, which discussed Internet trends and pointed to Internet resources for business and education. The company publishes over 14,000 ebooks on Barnes & Noble, Apple, and Kobo. In 2017, they sold their domain name to Samizdat LLC and moved their web site to http://www.seltzerbooks.com The site includes the their ebook publishing business, the complete text of Richard Seltzer's works (fiction and Internet marketing resources), plus documents relating to Alexander Bulatovich, Ethiopia, and Russia. They started in Boston, MA, and are now in Milford, CT.
