BC Biomedical Laboratories Ltd.
BC Biomedical Laboratories, Ltd is a commercial medical laboratory in British Columbia, Canada. The company is accredited with the Diagnostic Accreditation Program of the BC College of Physicians and Surgeons and is also an accredited laboratory with the College of American Pathologists.[1]

The company was founded in 1958 by Burnaby pathologist Dr. Cam Coady to provide diagnostic testing services to hospitals in the Vancouver area. LifeLabs Medical Laboratory Services completed the purchase of BC Biomedical Laboratories on April 1, 2013.[2]
Facts[edit]
BC Biomedical has more than 750 employees and serves up to 8000 patients per day. It provides mobile lab services without extra charge and uses electronic reporting to physicians.[3] BC Biomedical has been on the Aon Hewitt 50 Best Employers in Canada for the last ten years- three years in the number one position.[4]
