BENA World (previously known as eBuilding.co.uk) is a private international online marketplace[1] for building and construction trades co-founded by Majid El-abd in 1995. In its early years, the marketplace was based in London and dealt in constructing houses and apartments in the United Kingdom. Since then, it has expanded and has a base in Riyadh[2] and grown to be one of the online marketplaces of Saudi Arabia. It connects registered businesses and customers of construction, building products, and equipment, worldwide. It provides an environment for individuals, entrepreneurs, businesses and organisations with regulated trading rules[3], multiple communication channels and business and products certification and authentication conditions[3]. BENA World is registered in Maroof E-platform, by the Saudi Ministry of Commerce[4].
