Baby Mozart Music Festival

Baby Mozart Music Festival is a 1998 direct-to-video program released by The Baby Einstein Company. This is the second video release in the Baby Einstein franchise but the first Baby Einstein video to include classical music, puppet shows, kids, and references to other Baby Einstein videos. Baby Mozart Music Festival won a Child and Parenting Magazine award for Best Video in 1998 and has been reissued and re-released on VHS and DVD many times by Family Home Entertainment, The Walt Disney Company, and Kids II, Inc.. Some of the visuals featured in Baby Mozart Music Festival would appear in other Baby Einstein videos and some of the music can be found on the Baby Mozart CD and other Baby Einstein CDs.
Synopsis[edit]
Baby Mozart Music Festival is designed to stimulate and entertain babies and toddlers with beautiful photographs, playful toys, funny puppet shows, cute faces, and recognizable real world objects while introducing some of the best classical music pieces by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart re-orchestrated for little ears. Parents watching the video play along with their baby as they watch the video together, and point out the visuals that appear on the screen to build their child's vocabulary. Most of the music played in the video will get some children singing, dancing, and having fun while other music might make a child feel sleepy or in the mood for naptime.

Reception[edit]
Baby Mozart Music Festival received mostly positive reviews during its time. The video won a Child Magazine and Parenting Magazine award for Best Video of the Year and the 1998 National Parenting Center's Seal of Approval.[9]
On August 3, 2004, the CD was ranked at #1 on Billboard's Top Classic Midline list.[10]
