Bader S. Dweik

Bader Dweik is currently a faculty member at Al-Ahliyya Amman University .He was a former Dean of Scientific Research and a professor of English Linguistics at Middle East University, Amman, Jordan. Born in Palestine in 1947. Prof. Dweik took his undergraduate degree at the University of Jordan, and then he earned his MA and Ph.D. from the State University of New York. He had a distinguished career in the United States and many Arab universities. He also supervised scores of MA and Doctoral dissertations in English as a Foreign Language, Applied Linguistics, Sociolinguistics and Translation. His research interests and publications are in EFL, Applied Linguistics, Sociolinguistics and Translation.
