Bairro is a Portuguese instant grocery delivery service headquartered in Lisbon.[1]The users can order and receive the grocery products through the Bairro application.[2] The company operates in Lisbon and Almada through six microfulfillment centers[3]

History[edit]

The company was founded in December 2020 by Artem Kokhan and Milana Dovzhenko in Lisbon.[4] Today, Bairro has six micro fulfillment centers in Lisbon: Marques de Pombal, Park of the Nations, Carnaxide, Benfica, Laranjeiras, — and Almada.[5][6]In September 2021, the company announced that it has raised €1.2m in a seed funding from international private investors.[7][8][9]
