Bajjikanchal Vikas Party is a political party registered in Bihar. Its founder President is Mr. Devendra Rakesh and Central Vice President is Prof. Ranvir Kumar Rajan. This party is making efforts for the development of Bajjika speaking area and to give language status to Bajjika. According to the Election Commission of India, the party's headquarters are at Sahajanand Nagar, Bhagwanpur, NH 28, Muzaffarpur-842002 (Bihar).[2] Recently, the party has been active in campaigning for registering Bajjika as mother tongue during the census of India 2011 and for the formation of Bajjika Academy.[3]
