Banana island (diet)

From EverybodyWiki Bios & Wiki

Banana island is a term used to describe a diet that consists largely or even entirely of raw bananas. Practitioners may consumer 10, 30, or even more bananas per day, and usually drink the bananas after blending them in a blender.[1][2][3][4][5][6][7][8]

Practitioners of the diet claim that it makes them feel very healthy, including higher energy levels[5] and increased clarity of mind.[1]

Critics claim that it can lead to health problems, including hyperkalemia[6], Vitamin B12 deficiency.[5], and iron deficiency.[5]

However, despite popular misconception, it does not lead to potassium poisoning or protein deficiency.[5]
