Bandar bin Saud bin Khalid Al Saud is a Saudi prince, businessman and philanthropist. He serves as the Secretary General of the King Faisal Foundation (KFF).

Early life and education[edit]

Prince Bandar was born in Taif, Saudi Arabia. He graduated with a BA in sociology from King Saud University in 1983. He is married and has five daughters and a son.

Career[edit]

Bandar's tenure at the KFF began in 1983, where he held roles such as Public Relations Director and Assistant Secretary General. His appointment as Secretary General in 1993. At the same time, Bandar chairs the board of directors at Al Khozama Investment Company, a key player in Saudi Arabia's hospitality, real estate, and F&B industries.[1]

Between 1997 and 2007, Prince Bandar led the establishment of Al Faisal University.[2] Presently, he oversees its executive committee and holds a position as Trustee.[3]

In 2013, Prince Bandar was awarded the “Lifetime Achievement Award” at the Arabian Business Saudi Achievement Awards. [4] Since 2017, he has chaired the King Faisal School (KFS).

Bandar holds leadership roles in various businesses, including Trends Company (owner of LPM-La Petite Maison Restaurant Chain) and the National Company for Tourism (Syahya).[5] Additionally, he chairs Bas Global Investment Company, AoN Saudi Arabia, and Saudi Trading and Resources Co. Ltd. (STAR).
