Barkatali Pathan is National Coordinator of RTI Department NSUI India National Unit.[1]

Early life[edit]

Barkatali was born in Wadji, Dist. Latur, Maharashtra, on 06 November 1993 as son of Munawarsahab Pathan.

Educational Qualification[edit]

Barkatali has completed Bachelor Engineering in Electrical in 2016. Currently He is studying Master of Arts in Human Rights from Swami Ramanand Teerth Marathwada University, Nanded, Maharashtra.

Political journey[edit]

Barkatali Pathan started his Political Career from Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Polytechnic, As being elected as College President of NSUI in 2010. In 2013, he moved to Aurangabad, Maharashtra for his Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering from Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University, Aurangabad, Maharashtra where he was elected as Aurangabad District Secretary of NSUI.

He Protested against Maharashtra government for college fee waiving of drought affected students.[2]

He sent a memorandum to Prime Minister Narendra Modi to cancel the Online PhD Entrance Test tender which was given to WeShine Company by Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University

As he gave good results while working at district level, later he was promoted by the NSUI and was appointed as National Coordinator of NSUI , RTI Department in 2019.[3]

Recently he is working actively as a RTI activist for many social issues such as students related issues and basic issues of farmers. He handles state level as well as National level issues.
