Baron Foodtech is a bakery consulting company located in Nastola, Finland. Baron Foodtech focuses on consulting for industrial baking with services as technical expertise, design and consulting, dismantling of bakeries, installation and commissioning of machinery and software, product development and consulting, modernization of bakeries and energy efficiency. Baron Foodtech has their own test bakery for product consulting and development purposes, and a 300+ sqm workshop for bakery modernization purposes.
History and Background[edit]
Baron Foodtech is a family company, established in 2001. The founder and General Manager Mikko Lehtinen has an extensive experience from the bakery industry with more than 35 years from the field, working on management positions for bakery companies as Vulganus, Leipuirin and Villalähteen Leipä.
Baron Foodtech consults customers globally on new product development and commercialisation. Industry specific experience provides a holistic view of the bakery business and latest understanding of bakery business trends. Baron Foodtech serves bakeries from different parts of the world with strong focus on Nordics, Baltics, Russia, Northern Europe and Middle East. In 2020, Baron Foodtech developed the award winning gluten free bread range for Foodcode company in Russia which is today the leading company in the gluten free segment in Russia
