Barsik (Барсик "Little Badger) is a grey Scottish Fold cat owned by Russian social media personality, Hasbulla Magomedovich Magomedov.[1] Though her age is unknown, a picture of Barsik as a kitten from 2021 reveals her birth date to most likely be some time in late 2020.[2] Barsik frequently appears with Hasbulla in Instagram posts and on Tiktok.
Controversy[edit]
In March 2023, Hasbulla posted a video showing him allegedly abusing Barsik.[3] In it, he pulls on her ear, prompting the cat to run away. The video sparked backlash, prompting Hasbulla to post an apology video the next day in which he proclaimed his love for the cat.[4]
