Bathikepelly (also Bathkepally, Bathikepally or Bathkapalli) is a village located in Pegadapally mandal, in the Jagtial district (formerly in the Karimnagar district) of Telangana state.

There is a Legal Care and Support Centre in the village, operated by the Telangana State Legal Services Authority.

History

Local traditions:

• Bathikepelly Village is located 52 kilometres from Karimnagar, 4 kilometres from Mandal(Pegadapally), 18 kilometres from Jagityal and 14 kilometres from Mallial.
• Once upon a time, the village faced problems from "Rajakarlu," an army from the Nizam’s kingdom. In those days, the people used to run away from the village.
• TSRTC provides buses from Karimnagar and Jagityal, from early morning 4:00 AM to 9:00 PM.
• Sri Markandeya was located in the middle of the village.
• Hanuman Temple (Kocheruvu gutta) was located on the way to Pegadapelly (2 kilometers from the center of the village).
• It is a good place for agriculture.
• Ex-Minister (R&B) Sri T. Jeevan Reddy Garu’s birthplace.
• Bathikepelly is a major village of Pegadapally Mandal.
