Battle for Dream Island: The Power of Two (BFDI:TPOT), also known as The Power of Two (TPOT) is the fifth season of the animated web series Battle for Dream Island and a continuation of Battle for B.F.D.I. The first episode was released on January 10, 2021,[1] and there is only one episode as of April 2021. The show is released on YouTube under the channel "jacknjellify".[2] It is an object show.
Premise[edit]
The show centers around 42 sentient inanimate objects battling for Two's power through contests and challenges hosted each episode. Characters are eliminated from the show by method of votes cast by viewers in the comments section of episodes. The team that performs the worst in the episode's challenge has one member eliminated from their team by voting. In the voting, the viewers should pick one of the contestants to stay, which means that the person with the least votes leaves the competition.

Production and release[edit]
As discussed in "The Secret Behind BFB's Split", with 64 contestants and the rate at which production was moving, season 4 would have gone on for 20 more years before reaching a finale. Because of this, the character Two was introduced, who split the show, leaving only 14 contestants in BFB, meaning that the show could be wrapped up in a year, rather than 20.[3]
The Power of Two is intended to be a show with higher quality animation and writing, and it is stated to release every 4 to 5 months.[3] The first episode was originally intended to be released on January 9, 2021,[4] but due to unknown issues, the episode was delayed to the next day.
As stated in "Chapter Complete", the next episode of The Power of Two is still in production.[5]
