Battle of Urozhaine
The Third Battle of Urozhaine started around 1 May 2024, when Russian forces advanced into the southern part of the village.
Background[edit]
During the first phase of the war, Russian forces occupied the village of Urozhaine and its surroundings in the First battle. However, during the 2023 Ukrainian counteroffensive and despite its failure,[4] Ukrainian forces managed to retake control over Urozhaine in the Second battle. After a phase of stalemate in the same front, on late-April, Russian forces started preparations for a new offensive in the village.
Battle[edit]
Little is known for the battle itself, as it just started. It is reported by Russian milbloggers that Russian forces managed to enter the southern part of Urozhaine, and this claim is confirmed by ISW.
