In 1221, during the Khwarezm-Mongol War Jalal al-Din Mangburni who defeated the Mongols at the Battle of Nesa,he found 10,000 men joining his in Qandahar.[4]He fought the Mongol army led by Tolui[5], who besieged Qanhahar, for 3 days which was much larger than army his.He finally defeated them[6][7] and headed towards Valion castle.And he defeated the Mongols at the Battle of Valion[8]
