Bayo Adeeyo (born 26 January 1998), known professionally as Bayo Ododo, is a Nigeria musician, songwriter and a pianist, He records in Yoruba, and English. He officially started music after the release of "Iwalewa" (Beauty Of Love)[1][2][3] in 2018.
Early life[edit]
He was born in Ogbomoso, Oyo State in the south western part of Nigeria.[4]
Education[edit]
He is undergoing his first degree program in Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH) in Ogbomoso, Oyo State, Nigeria.[5]
Career[edit]
His career in music all started from his love for playing the piano, from there he began to develop interest in singing and then music as a career.
Bayo Ododo's music genre can best be described as folk/soul music, which purpose is to preserve the Yoruba cultural heritage.
His first track was officially released on February 14, 2018, titled “IWALEWA” (Beauty Of Love)[5] which helped him to be recognized as a new folk music artist.
Subsequently, after the released of his hit track (IWALEWA), he has released so many tracks – “Amunimona’,[6] ‘Ike’,[7] ‘ise’,[8] ‘irede’[9] among others.[5]
Bayo Ododo has been featured in some newspapers like The Nigerian Tribune[10], Alariya Newspaper. and also interviews.[11][12]
