Bayside Community Emergency Relief Inc is a 100% volunteer run registered charity, headquartered in the area of Bayside, Victoria. Its mission is to empower people experiencing hardship and tragedy by providing requested emergency aid supplies when a disaster arises.

In January 2020 the group engaged over 6,300 residents in Victoria, Australia to contribute requested items towards bushfire relief in the state, co-ordinating scores of volunteers to deliver needed supplies to affected areas. [1][2]

For its efforts, the formerly named Bayside Community Emergency Relief Group received a certificate of appreciation from Mayor Clarke Martin of Bayside City Council. [3] The group now serves on the emergency relief committees in two local councils.

Post the bushfire crisis, it focuses on two main pillars - emergency relief in the state of Victoria and aid for its most vulnerable members in Bayside, including those affected by Covid-19, people in non profit aged care and children suffering from domestic violence. Ongoing help with wildlife injured in the January 2020 bushfires also continues.
