Shad Albarazanji (born August 6, 1995), known by his stage name Bazanji, is an American hip hop artist of Kurdish descent.

Early life[edit]

Albarazanji was born in Bishop's Stortford, England. He moved to Chapel Hill, North Carolina at the age of six.

Career[edit]

Bazanji started recording music during his freshman year of college at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill while in his dorm room.[1] In September 2014, Bazanji released the mixtape Paradox.[2]

Following the release of Paradox, Bazanji released 7 records on his SoundCloud page.[3] His album, The City, was released on April 16, 2015. In February 2016, Bazanji released the mixtapeHigh Definition.[4] In April 2017, he performed with DJ Khaled at the University of Miami.[5]
