Shad Albarazanji (born August 6, 1995), known by his stage name Bazanji, is an American hip hop artist of Kurdish descent.
Early life
Albarazanji was born in Bishop's Stortford, England. He moved to Chapel Hill, North Carolina at the age of six.
Career
Bazanji started recording music during his freshman year of college at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill while in his dorm room.[1] In September 2014, Bazanji released the mixtape Paradox.[2]
Following the release of Paradox, Bazanji released seven tracks on his SoundCloud page.[3] His album, The City, was released on April 16, 2015. In February 2016, Bazanji released the mixtape High Definition.[4] In April 2017, he performed with DJ Khaled at the University of Miami.[5]
