Be Rich Limited (Bengali: বি রিচ লিমিটেড) is a Bangladeshi stockbroker company established in 2007.[3] The company is specialized in IPO application services and is the first market maker for the stock market in Bangladesh.[3][4] It is the second-largest brokerage house of the Chittagong Stock Exchange and number one for online trading. It offers brokerage services to retail clients. The company's headquarter is in Chattogram, and has 8 franchisee outlets in six cities across Bangladesh.

The company is a member of the Dhaka Stock Exchange and Chittagong Stock Exchange.[5][6] The company's services include online stock broking, portfolio management services, IPO, and Investment advisory services. With several special facilities like Online Trade, Electronic funds transfer, instant IPO application, portfolio manager etc. A subsidiary of Be Rich Limited is a 100% digital brokerage house named 01 Limited.[7]

History[edit]

In 2007, Be Rich Limited was co-founded by Md. Shamsul Islam and Kazi Rafiqul Hasan. Islam is an entrepreneur, investor, stockbroker, and businessperson. He is also one of the Fellow Chartered Accountants (FCA) of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh, and former director of Chittagong Stock Exchange.[8][9][10]

In 2008, the company entered the retail brokerage market after receiving regulatory approvals from Chittagong Stock Exchange.

In August 2021, the company got approval for a market maker licence from the Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission following Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission (Market Maker) Rules, 2017.[3][11][2][12][13] In 2021 Be Rich held the second position in the Top 20 brokers of Chittagong Stock Exchange.[14]

Digital booths[edit]

Along with five branches, the company has three digital booths. It received approval to open its first digital booth, in Sylhet, in June 2021. In July 2021 it received approval to open digital booths in Sandwip and Chatkhil.[6]
