Bel Canto Singers
The Bel Canto Singers is an established choir based in Redditch (near Birmingham), UK. It promotes five or more public concerts each year, mostly in Redditch area, and performs a wide selection of private and charity concerts throughout the year. The choir also regularly participates in other major local events e.g. The Mayoral Inauguration of the Mayor of Redditch, the Redditch Air festival to promote musical groups in the Redditch area.
Rehearsals take place at St John The Evangelist Church, Greenlands Ave, Redditch, Worcestershire. B98 7PZ on Monday evenings from 7.30 - 9.30 pm.
The choir's current conductor and music director is Liz Green, accompanist Wendy Quirk.

Bel Canto Singers were formed in June 1990 by Des Evans and since then have enjoyed a wealth of engagements in a selection of Midlands’ towns and cities, including Birmingham, Warwick, Wolverhampton, Worcester, Droitwich, Bromsgrove, Redditch and Stratford. The choir has grown in numbers and stature; after beginning with just a handful of members, it now stands at around 40 members. The current piano accompanist is Wendy Quirk.
The choir have appeared on Songs of Praise, have taken part in the Race for Life to raise funds for cancer research, have sung at the National Indoor Arena, and continue to raise funds for a wide variety of charities and good causes.
