Motorcycle Journeys[edit]

On July 2012, he began his attempt to become the first person to cross all North and South American countries by motorcycle [1][2][3] Traveling from Racine, Wisconsin, he crossed the Midwest US through Canada up to the Northwest Territories. He then crossed through Alaska through and the Dalton Highway to Prudhoe Bay and turned around (crossing the Artic Circle three times), crossing through western Canada, US and Baja California, eventually reaching the Darien Gap. Eventually continuing through Colombia, Venezuela, Brazil, into the Guianas. The attempt was cut short, close to the Suriname border, due to a collision with a truck.[4][5] Required surgery on his neck and rehab on his shoulder. In total his 10 month journey, crossed through 17 countries and 23,784 miles before the accident.

Early life[edit]

Received his MBA from Colorado State University in 2012. First began writing for the UW-LaCrosse college newspaper the Racquet, ranked as #1 newspaper in the state for journalism students. As well as the UW-LaCrosse The Catalyst.[6][7][8] His writings have also appeared in Glimpse,[9] a travel magazine.

Awards[edit]

Served as Wisconsin WIC Association (WWA) Chair and Vice-Chair. Director of the largest single WIC Project in the State of Wisconsin, he incorporated several QI projects that influenced the WIC Program.[11][12][13] In 2010, he received the National WIC Association Leadership award [14][15]
