Benjamin Javaheri (born January 20, 1982) is an Iranian singer and pop-star.[1][2][3][4][5][6][7]
Early life
Benjamin Javaheri is from Tehran. He was born on January 20, 1982.[8][9][10] He is the first child in his family and has one younger brother.[11][12][13][14]
Benjamin Javaheri, who are among the most popular figures in Kurdish pop music, expressed their feelings about what happened in the west of the country in the video.[15][16][17]
Benjamin, being the youngest, played an instrument. This is how Benjamin got interested in music, and at the age of 10, he started playing the tonbak.[18][19]
He finished his art musical degree at age 24. He then went to conservatoire school, and from there he started doing rock concerts.[20][21]
He started singing in 2004. In 2007 he started performing professionally in Persian, and from 2011 he started to sing professionally in Kurdish, which is his mother tongue. From then until now, Benjamin sings professionally in two languages, Persian and Kurdish, with his brother Ivan Javaheri.[22][23][24]
Career
The video clip "Restless Nights" was presented to the earthquake victims of Kermanshah with the voices of Ivan and Benjamin Javaheri.[25][26][27][28][29]
