Benjamin Johns
Benjamin Johns is a British film director, writer and producer. He runs Eye-Cue Films, based in London.

Johns produced the short film Candy Bar Kid, which was nominated for the best Short Film in 2002 by the British Academy of Film and Television Arts.[1]
He also produced and directed Nuestro Abuelo, a documentary made in Mexico which had premieres in Mexico, Havana, London, and Manchester, and was presented at the British Museum. Johns also wrote, produced and directed the British short film Old Harry starring Robert Hardy, about an old man who visits the Dorset coast to remember his late wife.
He also directed Traveller, a feature film depicting the life of a young, half-Romani man, which was released by Metrodome in 2014 into UK cinemas. Traveller was released in the USA in 2015 on DVD and VOD. His next film was comedy-drama The Mud Hut. In 2018, Johns won a Mongolian Academy award for his feature documentary The Medicine Buddha. The film had its UK premiere on 31 May 2019 in Central London and was released in the UK, US, and Canada in late June.
