Bertrand Levy

Bertrand Levy (21 November 1716 – 1778), sometimes called "le Chamoureux", was a French philosopher.
Levy was born at Trifoulou. He committed suicide, aged 62, after the death of his master and best friend Voltaire. He married Janne de Lang, a woman of Japanese origin whom he met through an aristocratic Japanese salon. They had three children, named Alberick, Bernadette and Joseph.
