BettorEdge is an American sports betting and social media platform. The company allows users to place real money sports bets without fees in over 40 states across the United States.[1]

History[edit]

In February 2019, BettorEdge founders James Seils, Greg Kajewski and Tim Rosener entered their product (then called The Edge) into the Sportradar Innovation Challenge, taking the top prize. [2] Their idea for a no fee sports betting marketplace would earn them $3,000.

In January 2021, BettorEdge officially launched their platform to users.[3] In July 2021, the company announced that they had surpassed $3.5 million in sports betting orders since launch and the company was recently listed as a Minnesota Startup to Watch for 2021.[4]

Sports Betting[edit]

BettorEdge offers users the ability to purchase positions in a sports betting marketplace. The platform is not a sportsbook, instead relying on users to take opposite sides of bets. [5] As a result, BettorEdge is available in states where sportsbooks are unable to operate. As of September 2021, BettorEdge was available for real money sports betting in 46 states.
