Beytullah İmzaoğlu, is a Turkish historian, poet[1] and writer.[2] He graduated from Marmara University, Department of History. (2012-2016) He got a master's degree from the same university. (2016-2019)[3] He conducts research on Turkish, Islamic and Ottoman history and culture-civilization.

Biography[edit]

He was born in Istanbul and lives in Istanbul.[4] He has been writing poetry since he was 12 years old.[5] Childhood and youth years were spent by travel. He received his first education in Ordu, then completed his education in Yalova and Istanbul. He speaks Turkish, Ottoman and English. He is also interested in music and playing the violin. He published his first book in 2010.[6] His first book was a poetry book.[7] His book was called "Strange Feelings".[8] He started his first education in the neighborhood school. He started his high school education in Altınay College in 2008 and graduated with a high honors degree in 2012. Then she started her undergraduate studies at Marmara University, Faculty of Arts and Sciences, Department of History and graduated from here with honors in 2016.[9] Then he started his master's degree in Marmara University Institute of Turkic Studies, Department of Turkish History, Department of Contemporary History and received a high honors degree. In 2019, he graduated with a 206-page master's thesis, (Şeyhülislam Cemaleddin Efendi 1848-1919). Music relates to poetry and sports as a particular torch. As a specialty field on public history and civilization and on recent history, he conducts studies, investigations and researches[10]

      • In this master's thesis, we analyzed the biography of Jamal ad-Din Effendi who was from an illustrious family of scholars. We used personal and official archives in addition to other sources that we could acquire. We analyzed his birth, family, education and his ascendancy among the scholars (ulama) in-depth as well as briefly examining his career pinnacle as Shaykh al-Islām. In addition to Jamal ad-Din Effendi's biography, who was the Shaykh al-Islām of Sultan Abdulhamid II for 18 years and Shaykh al-Islām of Sultan Mahmad Reshad V for 6 months, we researched his books, ideas and influences in our thesis. Furthermore, we also mentioned his relationship with The Sultan, dynasty, other civil servants, folk and foreigners. We scrutinised his private life in addition to his formal life and we have also pioneered the first usage of some of his works and books for academic research purposes (in addition to his memoirs)[11]
