Fatih Erden is a Turkish naval officer, electronics engineer and academician who is teaching undergraduate and graduate courses on signals and systems and electromagnetic theory in Turkish Naval Academy and Naval Science and Engineering Institute, and doing researches on analytical and numerical solution to cavity, waveguide, radiation, scattering, and inverse scattering problems of electromagnetic engineering. He is a member of IEEE and currently serves as an Editorial Board member of the Journal of Naval Science and Engineering.[1]

Career[edit]

Erden is currently an Assistant Professor of Electronics Engineering at Turkish Naval Academy, Istanbul with the rank of Navy Lieutenant Commander. From 2011 to 2012, he was on leave from Turkish Naval Academy to work as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department of University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.[2]

He received his BSc degree in electrical and electronics engineering from the Turkish Naval Academy and PhD degree from the Gebze Institute of Technology.
