Bikash Basnet

He is currently serving as Confidential Secretary to the Chief Minister of Sikkim Prem Singh Tamang. Bikash Basnet joined Sikkim Krantikati Morcha party in the year of 2013 after that in 2014 he contested election against then Chief Minister Pawan Chamling. He was one of the youngest candidate in 2014 general election. Contesting election on behalf of Sikkim Krantikari Morcha he got 3201 votes against Pawan Chamling from Rangang Yangang Constituency. Bikash Basnet is prominent member of Sikkim Krantikari Morcha and regarded as one of the closest person to the Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang. He is also a key spokesperson of Sikkim Krantikari Morcha party since the formation of the party.
