William "Bill" Bayes (born April 26, 1951) is an American businessman and politician. He is a member of the Prohibition Party, serving as the party's 2016 nominee for Vice President.

In May 2017, Bayes unsuccessfully ran for Ward 3 of the Hattiesburg City Council as a Republican, finishing third in the primary.[1][2][3]

Bayes has announced his intention to seek the nominations of both the Prohibition and Constitution parties for president in the 2020 election.[1] Bayes also created a page on Facebook to promote his campaign. Bayes received the Prohibition Party nomination on November 16, 2018,[4] but withdrew as nominee and quit the party on March 30, 2019.[5]
