Blackcircles
Blackcircles.com is a United Kingdom online tyre retailer.
History[edit]
Blackcircles was founded in 2001 by the Liverpool-born entrepreneur Mike Welch. The company’s original headquarters were in Peebles, Scottish Borders. Since launch, the company has grown significantly and has become a leading player in the online tyre retail market, thanks to their flexible just-in-time business model. In May 2015, the Michelin Group purchased Blackcircles and remains the sole shareholder of the business. Michelin is a global tyre manufacturer with over 100,000 employees and 68 production plants in 17 countries. Michelin's acquisition of Blackcircles enabled the company to link fitting services with it’s other tyre retail outlet, ATS Euromaster.
