Blake Jamieson (born January 14, 1985) is an American contemporary portrait artist and a non-fungible token collector [1] based in California. Jamieson creates pop portraits for professional athletes in the NFL, NBA, MLB such as Drew Brees and Zion Williamson.
Early Life[edit]
Jamieson was born and raised in Marin County, California. He attended Novato High School where, graduating in 2003.
In 2009 he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from UC Davis. At the age of 30 he went on a 5-week trip to Barcelona, Spain, the rich history and culture of the city’s street art led him to leave digital marketing and become a full time artist.
Athlete Portraits[edit]
During a trip to Las Vegas in 2017, to deliver a Rick Harrison (Pawn Stars) portrait, Blake met former NFL player and current NFL manager Jarred Fayson. Jarred encouraged Jamieson to paint for professional athletes, introducing Blake to a few of his clients (CJ Anderson, Jahleel Addae, Corey Liuget). Blake has expanded on those relationships to become a premier portrait artist for NFL athletes.
In 2019, Jamieson was commissioned by [[World TeamTennis ]to create original portraits for the Male and Female Most Valuable Players WTT. WTT presented the work to the New York Empire’s Neal Skupski and to the Philadelphia Freedoms’ Raquel Atawo at the U.S. Open in Flushing Meadows, NY.
In 2020 Blake started working with Topps, redesigning 20 iconic baseball cards alongside 19 other artists for work titled ‘’Project 2020’’ [2]. On that year he also made ‘’Babe’’, a painting on top of a photo of Babe Ruth, in a collaboration with Efdot.

In 2018 Blake created two portraits, one of Willie Mays and one of Ricky Henderson, for the inaugural Battle of the Bay Art Show sponsored by NBC Sports Bay Area [11].

In 2021 Blake continued working with Topps. First on a solo project, Topps 1951 by Blake Jamieson [13], and then as one of 51 artists redesigning iconic baseball cards as part of “Project70” [14]. In early 2021 Blake also started releasing his work as non-fungible tokens [15]. His early success with NFTs caught the attention of CNBC and he was featured in their “Make It” series in April of 2021 [16].
