Blake Ricciardi is an American entrepreneur, founder and owner of the Los Angeles based clothing brand, Popular Demand.

Background[edit]

Blake Ricciardi was raised in Massachusetts. Ricciardi worked with the WB Boston to launch a music television show. This was where he was recruited by Greg Selkoe of Karmaloop to develop a stand-alone drop ship division, now called The Kazbah. With a successful launch of The Kazbah, Karmaloop also gave him the opportunity to start KarmaloopTV, an online television network for the website.[1]

In 2009, Blake moved from Boston to Los Angeles.

In 2012, he founded the clothing line Popular Demand. He also serves as the main designer for the brand.[2]

Popular Demand[edit]

Popular Demand was founded in and is currently headquartered in Los Angeles, California. The company targets and sells to the bold, young, risk-taking demographic with an emphasis on the work play lifestyle that the brand lives by.[3]

The company is anchored by its retail website, but can also be found in various retailers across the globe. Popular Demand can be found in hundreds of stores across the United States. It is also sold in other countries like Japan, Australia, France and Canada.[4]
