Blanche Serban, stylized in her paintings as Ṣerban, is a Romanian-American artist based in Storrs, Connecticut. She works both in impressionist and abstract expressionist styles in paint, and is inspired by the local landscapes.[1] Chabot Gallery of Rhode Island represents her.
Early life and education
Serban was born and raised in the Romanian capital city of Bucharest. She studied painting at the School of Arts and the University of Bucharest, where she got her Bachelor of Arts and a psychotherapy license. She later attended Syracuse, where she obtained a Master of Arts.[2]
Exhibitions
Serban's exhibitions are displayed in galleries around the world, both solo and alongside the works of others. Countries that contain galleries displaying her art include Romania, the United States, France, South Korea, Great Britain, and Germany.
