Pop Artist Zox is a painter, photographer and a filmmaker, who has created iconic album covers, illustrations and paintings for major recording Artists and Record Labels, like RSO and Warner Brothers. He contributed with the famous photographer Ed Caraeff to create and design various record album cover illustrations,[1][2][3]

Zox has contributed in music history with amazon backdrops painted by himself, including iconic cover art for the Bee Gees' "Children Of The World" (1976) album, Steely Dan's "The Royal Scam", Cheech & Chong's "Sleeping Beauty", Dwight Twilley's "Cry Tough", Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers 1st Studio Album. Besides the amazing illustrations that sometimes looking like real light and shade vignettes; he has also done photography for many artist like the Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers "Greatest Hits" (1993) album, Dwight Twilley's "Always" album, Jeff Barry's "Chapel Of Love", just to mention a few.
In 1979, Ed Caraeff called Zox for a very peculiar project: creating the design and to paint "The Caesar's Chariot" (the Boeing 720 plane) bought for the North American Bee Gees magnanimous tour: "Spirits Having Flown". The design and painting was created by Ed Caraeff and Zox and it is still to date documented in the history of aviation.
Filmmaking[edit]
Zox released his documentary "Pop Up" in 2019, which includes the appearances of Robert Plant, Dwight Twilley, and the very last performance of Tom Petty; which was officially recorded by Zox himself. The Documentary was filmed across the US, and portrays Zox and his friend Cru in a van full of Zox's art traveling to thirteen venues spanning the US from Silicon Valley to New York and back across to LA, mounting "Pop Up!" exhibitions in different cities. The Art Documentary was awarded Honorable Mention in the Los Angeles Underground Film Festival, and also award winner in Los Angeles Motion Picture Festival and Tagore International Film Festival. The Post-Modern Experimental Documentary has won 8 International Film Awards so far, including Asia, Europe and the US.
Zox has recently produced the multiple award winning music video short "An Angel Feather" for emerging recording artist Randy Berlin. Curiously, Zox received two different awards for his two different projects from the same festival on the very same day! The music video has received 6 International Film Awards and 3 nominations, 1 in Buthan and 2 in London.[4][5][6][7][8][9][1][2]
