Bernard Malesela Ralehlaka (born 30 March 1996), known professionally as Bmcabana SF, is a South African rapper from Seshego, Polokwane, Limpopo. He began his career in 2016 and gained attention in 2020 from his second single “Down”.
Backround[edit]
Early life and influenced[edit]
Bmcabana was born in Polokwane[1], where he lived with his grandparents. Baptized in a Christian church, he took part in the Sunday school choir. Bmcabana performed freestyles to classmates during Arts and Culture classes. Bmcabana is influenced by Mlazah aka Lah-zee, a rapper from Seshego who appeared on e.tv hip hop show Shizniz when Bmcabana was still a teen[2].
Musical career[edit]
Music and label[edit]
In 2019 Bmcabana released his first EP titled "The Dream" which was produced by himself. The EP had six tracks.
In 2020 Bmcabana SF released his two debut single titled "Down" and "O'ryan Code", distributed and licensed globally by Tunecore. Hoping to enhance his career Bmcabana started his own record label called WolfGxng Records, but was to stay in partnership with Tunecore.
In March 2021 Bmcabana released two singles, one of the official tracks released was "This and That". The song was a joint effort by Bmcabana SF and Buckrolll Beats a producer from Germany.[3]
