Boater's List is an online marine services listing platform, offering services such as boat rentals, mechanics, fishing guides, and other similar services.[citation needed] It is based in San Antonio, Texas. The Boater's List online platform comprises over 70,000 marine service provider listings, in over 30 countries.[citation needed]
History
Boater's List was first conceptualized by Martin Kroesche and Cody Williams in July 2019, as a platform to connect marine enthusiasts to a wide range of service providers.[citation needed] It was officially registered as a Limited Liability Company in July 2020,[citation needed] and the website was launched to the public in May 2021, during the 2021 Gulf Coast Masters tournament.[citation needed]
The company opened its first call centre, in Tampico, Mexico, in July 2021.[citation needed] In August 2021, it converted from an LLC to an Incorporated Entity[clarify], and obtained its first corporate sponsors.[citation needed] It subsequently expanded in September 2021, offering services in Puerto Rico, the Turks and Caicos Islands, and the Bahamas.[citation needed].
In November of 2021, Boater's List deployed a monetization plan with Premium Verified Plans, where service providers would receive landing pages on the site as well as increased visibility in listings when users searched for their services.[citation needed]
Boater's List launched mobile apps on the Google Play and Apple store in January 2022.[1]
As of October 2023, Boater's List claims to list over 67,000 providers on its website.[2][better source needed]

Boater's List announced the acquisition of the popular[weasel words] Haulover Inlet sites and social media accounts in August 2022[3]
In October of 2023, Boater's List acquired two more social media accounts, "Tug Life" and "Maritime Daily", increasing social media following to over 3.3 million.[2]
