A Boglen Terrier is a domestic crossbreed dog. It is a cross between a Beagle and a Boston Terrier.
Appearance
The Boglen Terrier is a medium-sized dog, weighing between 20-40 pounds with the floppy ears of a beagle and the large, protruding eyes of a boston terrier. The Boglen has a small but muscular body with colors ranging from black to a lighter brown with a mostly white underside.
Behavior/Temperament
The Boglen Terrier is smart but stubborn with high levels of energy. They get bored easily and are very food-motivated.
Health
Boglen terriers, like Boston Terriers, are susceptible to forming an underbite as well as getting dry ears which need to be washed regularly.
Crossbreed status and recognition
Although not currently recognized as an official breed by the American Kennel Club (AKC)".[1] , the Boglen Terrier is recognized by the American Canine Hybrid Club (ACHC)"[2] , the Designer Breed Registry (DBR)"[3] , and the International Designer Canine Registry (IDCR)"[4]
