Sathi Brahma Teja was born on July 21st, 1990, in Visakhapatnam. This Mechanical Engineer from GITAM started his skating career at the young age of 7 to lose weight and went on to pursue it professionally beyond the age of 25. From starting skating as a weight-loss hobby, this young boy went on to represent India internationally and brought glory to his state and country.
He bagged 10 Gold, 12 Silver, and 13 Bronze medals at the National level and had represented India internationally 4 times.[1] With 35+ National medals and international level participation, Sathi Brahma Teja took the sport, the country and himself a really long way and made a mark for himself in the Skating world. Brahma Teja made his first international debut as the captain of the Indian Speed Skating team in the World Championship in Korea, 2006. In the Asian Games 2010, China, he represented India in Roller Sports in 2 events:

Owing to his Skating abilities, he was invited by Andhra Pradesh Roller Skating Association (APRSA) to be the official Andhra Pradesh state coach for the 58th National Roller Skating Championship, 2021.
Brahma Teja, apart from being an ace skater, has built a talent for hosting. He was the emcee for the 60th National Games 2022, Bengaluru, and the official sports commentator for Doordarshan Sports at the 36th National Games 2022, Gujarat.
After pursuing a corporate career and battling a brain stroke in 2022, he is back to the skating world. He recently topped the Coach certification exam conducted by Andhra Pradesh Roller Skating Association (APRSA) and has now become a certified Coach.
