Arpit singh yadav is an Indian speed skater. He is born on 18/06/2003 in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh and has been involved in sports since 2011. In 2012, Arpit played his first roll ball championship. He is an Asian book of record holder in 2018. Most recently, Arpit represented India in the 2019 National Roller Games held in Agra from 4 to 14 July 2019. He was the first Indian to secure a state roller skating medal for India in 2016 at the State Speed Skating Championship and to finish fifth in the 500+D event on the track in 2019.

As of 2019, Arpit has won more than 7 gold medals, 4 silver medals, and 4 bronze medals at district championships. He has won the 100-metre dash in India since it was introduced in 2015, setting a new state record and earning him the nickname "Triple Crown King of the 100-metre". Arpit has been named national champion and India's best skater six times.

He was conferred with the Lucknow speed skater Award in 2018 by Central academy Principal Aradhana Pandey for outstanding achievement in national sports. Arpit is coached by Neeraj Srivastava.

Early life and education

Arpit singh yadav, originally from Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, India, started skating in 2011 when he was seven years old. He completed his 10th class from Central academy and is still completing 12th class from Maharaja agrasen public school, and has represented India more than 7 times in state and national speed skating competitions. His first National Championship was in 2012 at Lucknow, where he won one silver and one bronze medal.
