Brian Wilson 2019 documentary film
A "definitive" documentary film about Brian Wilson (The Beach Boys cofounder) is nearing completion, according to Variety magazine.[1] Not yet titled, the forthcoming documentary is directed by Brent Wilson (no relation) and should be finished in January 2019.
Production of the film has included about 90 hours of fresh footage of Brian Wilson working in the studio or talking about his life. Elton John, Bruce Springsteen, Nick Jonas, Jim James, Taylor Hawkins, Gustavo Dudamel, Jakob Dylan, and Bob Gaudio[1][2] have filmed their own interviews to be included in the film.
Film producer (and billionaire) Tim Headington is a producer and financier of the film. Headington was an executive producer or producer on Jersey Boys, Hugo, Argo, and World War Z. Brian Wilson, his wife Melinda Wilson, and Rolling Stone editor Jason Fine are executive producers.
