BridgeWay Station is a mixed-use development located in Mauldin, South Carolina. The complex includes a bridge, gym, school, restaurants, and a stadium.[1]
Planning
On April 8, 2021, the groundbreaking ceremony occurred for the development.[2] It was announced that the new stadium of the Greenville Triumph would be located there.[3] The size is around 40 acres or 580,000 square feet. Including the apartments and multi-story buildings, the square footage is over 1 million.[4] At a cost of $100 million, it will bring over 1,000 new jobs.[5]
Current status
The first phase was completed in early 2023 with the grand opening in 2024. A pedestrian bridge was built across Interstate 385 and unofficially named "Harambe Bridge" after a gorilla shrine to Harambe was made.[6]
