Brienne Ghafourifar (born April 29, 1995) is an entrepreneur and co-founder of Palo Alto technology startup Entefy.[1] She is also the world record holder as the youngest college graduate to raise $1 million in venture funding for her business at age 17.[2] That figure has since grown to $9.7 million.[3]

Early Life and Education[edit]

Ghafourifar was born and raised in Silicon Valley.[4] Her parents are Iranian-American businessman Mehdi Ghafourifar and Jillayn Ghafourifar.[5] She has an older brother, Alston Ghafourifar.[6]

In 2009, Ghafourifar began college at the age of 14. The following year, Ghafourifar was accepted into Santa Clara University's Leavey School of Business.[5] She graduated at 17 with a bachelor's degree in economics.[5]

Career[edit]

In 2012, Ghafourifar and brother Alston Ghafourifar co-founded Entefy, a Palo Alto technology startup in the digital communication and artificial intelligence space.[3] Prior to Entefy, Brienne led Univetica's Social Entrepreneurship program.[7]
